GOGANOVIĆ: DIPLOMATIC VICTORY OF SERB MEMBER OF PRESIDENCY IN DAYTON

EAST SARAJEVO, MAY 26 /SRNA/ - Deputy Defense Minister in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović told SRNA that the Serb member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović represented Republika Srpska with dignity in the USA and emphasized the need to respect the letter of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"The Serb member of the Presidency represented in Dayton the position of the Serb people and Republika Srpska, that political problems in BiH must be resolved through dialogue among domestic elected political actors, respecting the existing administrative structure defined by the Dayton Peace Agreement, which is also the position of the U.S. administration," Goganović emphasized.

He pointed out that the diplomacy of political Sarajevo has been reduced to spreading falsehoods about Republika Srpska. On the other hand, the Serb member and Chairwoman Cvijanović spoke about the political challenges in BiH and how to overcome them.

"She represented the interests of Republika Srpska and the Serb people, but without jeopardizing the interests of other peoples in BiH. Therefore, I can confidently say that this is a diplomatic victory of the Serb member of the BiH Presidency in Dayton," Goganović said.
