GOGANOVIĆ AFTER A MEETING AT PENTAGON: IDENTICAL POSITIONS OF NEW ADMINISTRATION AND SRPSKA

WASHINGTON, APRIL 26 /SRNA/ - Deputy Defense Minister in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović told SRNA that the new U.S. administration understands the situation in BiH and that he was very satisfied with the conversation at the Pentagon with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security, Kathryn Thompson.

"The new U.S. policy is to focus on itself and its interests. On the international stage, the current emphasis is on the Indo-Pacific region," Goganović told SRNA after a meeting at the Pentagon.

He says the new U.S. administration has clearly said that Europe should take care of its security.

"When it comes to BiH, the message from the new administration is clear and unambiguous – full respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and a constructive dialogue among domestic political actors.

This is exactly what we in Republika Srpska insist on - that we respect each other and make decisions in accordance with the agreement of the two entities and three peoples, without imposing decisions," Goganović emphasized.
