ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 1 /SRNA/ – A meeting with World Bank representatives focused on the current portfolio and future projects in Republika Srpska, with agreements reached on projects worth a total of EUR 660 million, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers told SRNA.
Among the future projects planned for Republika Srpska, EUR 500 million has been agreed for Corridor Vc through Srpska, covering the Vukosavlje–Doboj section.
A total of EUR 100 million has been earmarked for an energy efficiency project in Republika Srpska, which envisages the installation of solar systems for 50,000 households.
EUR 60 million has been allocated for the Sava and Drina Corridors Development Programme.
The meeting in Banja Luka with Liang Wang, the newly appointed Head of the World Bank Group Office for BiH and Montenegro, was attended by Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, Republika Srpska Minister of Finance Zora Vidović, and Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Srđan Amidžić.
