PREPARATION OF 2027-2029 ECONOMIC REFORM PROGRAM BEGINS

BANJA LUKA, AUUGUST 27 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Government today adopted information on activities to prepare the Republika Srpska Economic Reform Program for 2027-2029 and to coordinate activities related to the preparation of BiH's economic reform program for the same period.

The Ministry of Finance has been tasked with preparing the program and coordinating activities related to the preparation of the BiH economic reform program.

The Ministry of Finance has also been instructed to use the joint conclusions of the EU Economic and Financial Dialogue with regional partners as a framework for defining priorities and policies in preparing the Republika Srpska Economic Reform Program for 2027-2029, but only to the extent that they are consistent with the constitutional powers and competences of Republika Srpska institutions.

All ministries and institutions will work with the Ministry of Finance in preparing structural reforms as part of the Republika Srpska Economic Reform Program for 2027-2029, the Government's Public Relations Bureau said in a statement.

The Team for the Preparation and Monitoring of Structural Reforms will provide the Ministry of Finance with the necessary information in a timely manner so that the economic reform program can be prepared within the defined deadlines.

Activities will also be carried out to consolidate and harmonize the text of BiH's Economic Reform Program for 2027-2029, with a requirement that Republika Srpska remain clearly visible throughout the process and in the document, in accordance with its constitutional powers and competences, the statement said.
