BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – The BiH Constitutional Court issue must be definitively resolved by adopting a law stipulating that its composition include three judges from each of the three constituent peoples – Serbs, Croats and Bosniaks, SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik stated.

"The Constitutional Court issue must be definitively resolved before the Council of Ministers is formed, and its reform must be envisaged through the Parliamentary Assembly. We propose adopting a law regulating the Constitutional Court and stipulating that three judges from each constituent people sit there," Dodik told the press in Banja Luka following a session of the SNSD Presidency.

According to him, the aim is to protect the national positions of all and ensure that Srpska is protected against any form of domination or potential outvoting.

"That is how things have been arranged until now. We reject the practice of the Constitutional Court over the past ten years, which has not functioned as a constitutional court but rather as an inquisitorial court. We cannot continue our work at the level of BiH with international judges sitting in the Constitutional Court.

Therefore, if anyone wants to see the SNSD and Republika Srpska represented in the institutions of BiH, they will see us there only if we first resolve the Constitutional Court issue and overturn these decisions imposed as quasi laws," Dodik stated.
