BiH INSTITUTIONS ARE IN SUBORDINATE POSITION TO THOSE OF SRPSKA

EAST SARAJEVO, MAY 24 /SRNA/ - Staša Košarac, the deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers, says the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, in a courageous and statesmanlike speech in the National Assembly marking 30 years of the Dayton Peace Agreement, offered realistic political solutions for the future of BiH.

"Any imposition, sanctioning, or conditioning of development projects is certainly not an acceptable path in the 21st century," emphasized Košarac.

Košarac says that, unfortunately, it is obvious that certain centres within the EU are not willing to listen, let alone able to understand the current geopolitical moment in which not only BiH but also the broader region and the Union itself find themselves.

"The non-paper circulated by Germany and France proves a deep misunderstanding of the actual situation on the ground, as well as a continued flawed approach based on pressure and conditionality. The Serb people and Republika Srpska have never reacted favourably to such methods, and they never will," Košarac said.

He has emphasized that the leadership of Republika Srpska firmly believes in dialogue and agreement among local politicians, without tutelage or foreign interference, and that in his speech, President Dodik offered not only a solution to the current constitutional-political crisis but also to the future of BiH.

He has added that during his official visit to the People's Republic of China, he had the opportunity to meet with numerous Chinese officials and witness firsthand the impressive level of development in this friendly country.

He has highlighted that China shows a willingness to cooperate based on mutual respect, shared interests, and mutual benefit - without political agendas, blackmail, or pressure.

"That is the model of cooperation that Republika Srpska values and prioritizes, because it is based on equality, respect, and genuine partnership," Košarac posted on Instagram.

He has added that Republika Srpska remains committed to peace, stability, and development, but exclusively on the basis of respect for its constitutional competencies and political reality, not on constructs that ignore the will of the constituent peoples and the real life in BiH.
