CVIJANOVIĆ: WE WILL UNCOVER KONAKOVIĆ’S LOBBYING SCHEME

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MARCH 1 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović pointed out that the lobbying contract in the United States, initiated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković, was a financial and legal fraud, as well as a political deception.

"Moreover, besides misleading the public, he misled American partners. In short, it ended the way it should have and the only way that was correct, but Konaković kept that silent. He hid his manipulations by making a fuss against Republika Srpska," Cvijanović stated.

She stressed that Konaković did not represent BiH at any foreign address, but used his position to target Republika Srpska.

"We will dismantle all their manipulations. Patiently, step by step," Cvijanović wrote on X.

Mirza Pilaković, one of the two lobbyists hired by Konaković, ended his cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers and resigned from the organization "Bosnian American Alliance" back in October last year, the portal Istraga.ba reported.

The same source adds that the BiH Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into suspicious flows of money that were paid to BiH “lobbyists” in the United States.
