CVIJANOVIĆ: THE PICTURE OF TODAY'S EU - THEY DECLARE DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED LEADER PERSONA NON GRATA, NOT AN ILLEGAL FOREIGNER ACTING AS COLONIAL ADMI

EAST SARAJEVO, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ - Serb member and chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović pointed out that the perception of global powers is such that not a single sentence that Zlatko Lagumdžija lobbied for, nor the one supporting Christian Schmidt, nor the one condemning Milorad Dodik or Republika Srpska was included in the UN Security Council statement.

Asked to comment on the joint statement of the members of the UN Security Council, Cvijanović told SRNA that Republika Srpska agrees when it comes to protecting territorial integrity and calls for respect for the Dayton Agreement, consensus when deciding and solving problems through dialogue.

"By the way, that's why it says so in the statement of the Security Council," Cvijanović stressed.

When asked to comment on the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, Elmedin Konaković, in which he called the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, "a fugitive from domestic legislation", Cvijanović replied that as far as the discussion on fugitives is concerned, the fugitive is Sakib Mahmuljin, and Konaković certainly did not use any of his trips abroad to resolve the issue of his return to the country and serving the sentence.

Since Konaković in his media appearance also refers to the statement of Marta Kos, who said that "Dodik is a secessionist and attacks the constitutional order of BiH", Cvijanović pointed out that it should be said that she is very and multiple times wrong.

"First of all, because it gives Konaković and similar unitarists allegedly green light to continue spreading lies and ruining BiH's foreign policy. Secondly, it is wrong to call separatists those who do not threaten territorial integrity.

By the way, those who are called separatists also know how to read EU law and nowhere did they find that some foreigner and unelected individual can pretend to be the parliament or even above the parliament. It says the exact opposite, that it is democratically elected institutions that do the work, not foreign dictators," Cvijanović explained.

After all, she pointed out, none of the laws required on the EU path would exist without Milorad Dodik and the SNSD. "Now they have the opportunity to find other interlocutors, with their electoral capacity equal to that of a political dwarf", stated Cvijanović, also the vice-president of SNSD.

Finally, she added, the statement of Marta Kos is wrong and that she claims that 50 percent of the population supports the path to the EU. "That percentage is higher, but they don't want to go there with Christian Schmidt, but with the EU delegation. So, not with Christian Schmidt, because he further contaminated the judiciary, and caused BiH to move further away from what is called a legal state, and the EU didn't do much to put things in order," Cvijanović emphasized.

The Serb member and chairperson of the Presidency has stated that the picture of today's EU is that its officials declare a democratically elected leader as an undesirable interlocutor, but not an illegal and unelected foreigner who acts as a colonial administrator in BiH.

"But I'm still old school when it comes to European integration, so maybe I don't understand what the new school has done with that process. After almost 30 years of brutal and violent action to implement the radical construction of a state different from the one foreseen by the Dayton Agreement, it's good that we can refer to law or the rule of law at all," Cvijanović concluded.
