SARAJEVO, JUNE 3 /SRNA/ – The Serb member and Chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović emphasized during the meeting with representatives of the parliaments of eight Nordic and Baltic countries that the challenges in BiH are not of a security nature, but political, and should be resolved through political means within domestic institutions.
"The only path toward resolving this crisis is through dialogue among democratically elected representatives of all peoples, and not through foreign interventionism, which has brought BiH to a pre-collapse state," Cvijanović stressed.
She pointed out that Republika Srpska respects the Constitution and the Dayton Peace Accords, which does not provide for an unelected foreigner to change constitutions, impose laws, punish political parties, and persecute democratically elected leaders.
"Such dictatorial behavior, which caused the current crisis in BiH, is in violation of both domestic and European legal frameworks," Cvijanović wrote on Instagram following the meeting with the presidents and vice presidents of the parliaments of the eight Nordic and Baltic countries.
Cvijanović underlined that the institution of the High Representative is not disputed, but only within the framework prescribed by Annex 10 of the Dayton Agreement.
