CVIJANOVIĆ: SARAJEVO’S POLICY REDUCED TO PRESERVING INTERNATIONAL JUDGES AND THE OHR

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, APRIL 6 /SRNA/ – Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović emphasizes that official Sarajevo’s policy is reduced to preserving international /European/ judges in the Constitutional Court of BiH and the OHR, adding that Foreign Minister in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković is no exception.

She has added that this is not surprising because their activities have been aimed at the centralisation of BiH contrary to the Dayton Accords, according to the will of Bosniaks and to the detriment of Serbs and Croats.

"Although Konaković knows nothing about many aspects within the scope of his job, he tries to create the impression with bombastic statements that he knows everything. The same applies to his latest statement about the person who will replace Christian Schmidt," Cvijanović posted on X, reacting to Konaković’s statement that "even if Schmidt leaves, those who understand BiH will come."

Cvijanović says that although Konaković "through his media outlets is supposedly indirectly promoting a suitable candidate, his wish will not be fulfilled".

"Certainly. However, Konaković is irrelevant in this narrative, but what is important is what he promotes every day: that BiH should not be based on internal dialogue, but on the manipulative and undemocratic actions of foreign administrators who have contaminated the entire constitutional life of BiH, which is why it is so degraded and pathetically unsuccessful. After all, just like his political career," Cvijanović said.
