CVIJANOVIĆ EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILIES OF EUFOR PERSONNEL KILLED

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, 29 OCTOBER /SRNA/ – Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović extended her condolences to the families of the Italian EUFOR personnel who were killed today in a helicopter crash near Brčko, stressing that their service in preserving peace and stability in BiH would be remembered with due respect and gratitude.

"I was deeply shaken by the news of the helicopter crash near Brčko in which EUFOR personnel lost their lives. Their service as part of Operation Althea, aimed at preserving peace and stability in BiH, will be remembered with due respect and gratitude. I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the soldiers who died, as well as to the EUFOR command, and wish the injured crew members a swift and successful recovery," Cvijanović posed on X.

Four people were killed and 11 injured when an EUFOR helicopter crashed in the Gorice neighbourhood of Brčko.
