CVIJANOVIĆ CONGRATULATES TRUMP ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

SARAJEVO, JULY 4 /SRNA/ – The Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović has sent congratulatory note to U.S. President Donald Trump on Independence Day, expressing confidence that the United States, under his leadership, will make an important contribution to preserving peace, stability, and international cooperation.

"It is my great honour and pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations to you and all citizens of the United States on July 4," Cvijanović stated.

She emphasized that this year's marking of the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence represents an important historical jubilee and an opportunity to pay tribute to the enduring values of freedom, independence, and democracy that have shaped the United States and left a strong mark on world’s history, announced the Presidency of BiH.

"I am confident that, under your leadership and commitment to protecting national interests and strengthening American power and prosperity, the United States will continue to achieve success for the benefit of its citizens," Cvijanović said in her congratulatory message.

U.S. Independence Day is a national holiday marking the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, which formalized the liberation of the American colonies from British rule.
