CVIJANOVIĆ CLEARLY POINTED OUT IN NEW YORK THAT SRPSKA IS A DEFENDER OF RIGHTS, CONSTITUTION, AND DAYTON AGREEMENT

BELGRADE, MAY 7 /SRNA/ - Political analyst Dragomir Anđelković told SRNA that the Serb member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović addressed the UN Security Council in a legally grounded and well-argued manner, clearly pointing out that Republika Srpska is a defender of rights, the Constitution, and the Dayton Agreement, and emphasized that the support received during the debate from powerful Russia is particularly significant.

Anđelković stressed that Cvijanović's address was very important, not because the major powers in the UN Security Council are unaware of what is happening in BiH, but because many smaller countries and those less interested in this region are confused.

"The leading Western countries are well aware that they are imposing a neocolonial policy in BiH, and that everything they are doing constitutes a violation of international law and the Dayton Agreement, as well as a form of postmodern occupation of the state union of BiH and a return of part of Europe to the era of colonialism," Anđelković emphasized.

He says that countries such as Germany, France, and the United Kingdom are very much aware of this, but that many countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America are not.

"That is why it is important that Cvijanović presented herself in a way that shows Republika Srpska as a defender of rights, the Constitution, and the Dayton Agreement, and as being ready for constructive solutions in agreement with the international community, and the United Nations are the only true representative of that community," Anđelković emphasized.

He pointed out that those who are unilaterally imposing the centralization of BiH and promoting Christian Schmidt, who is an illegal usurper of neocolonial control over BiH, are the ones acting unlawfully and aggressively.

"The leading Western powers, who are promoting all these bad things, will pretend that what Cvijanović said is unfounded. They will attack Republika Srpska as well, but in this way, a voice of justice presented with arguments at the UN Security Council cannot go unheard in many countries. This is an important point in the process of liberating BiH from Euro-Atlantic neocolonialism," Anđelković emphasized.

Anđelković says it is very significant that the Russian ambassador to the UN Security Council Vasily Nebenzya left the room while Schmidt was speaking, saying that Schmidt has no right to speak on behalf of the international community because he was not legitimately appointed.

"Republika Srpska is speaking the truth and its representatives are fighting for justice, but Republika Srpska is small and does not carry the weight that a large and powerful country like Russia does, which is why Nebenzya's move is very important given everything related to Schmidt’s usurpation," Anđelković pointed out.

He emphasized that by doing so, Nebenzya drew the attention of global centers of power, from the large to the small, and relevant international media, to what is happening in BiH, because when Russia's voice is heard, it attracts attention.

"This then allows Republika Srpska to spread the truth it defends further, so in that way, Russia has helped it very wisely and thoughtfully," said Anđelković.
