CVIJANOVIĆ AND U.S. SECRETARY OF COMMERCE DISCUSS CUSTOMS TARIFF REGULATION

WASHINGTON, MAY 27 /SRNA/ - The Serb Member and current Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović has stated that during a meeting with the U.S. Secretary of Commerce of the U.S. President Donald Trump administration, Howard Lutnick, they agreed to work together in the coming weeks on mutual regulation of customs tariffs.

“We agree that economic prosperity creates political stability,” Cvijanović noted.

She expressed full support for the foreign policy priorities of the new U.S. administration headed by President Trump, which are focused on investment, development of economic relations, and economic cooperation.

This, Cvijanović emphasized, represents a positive shift and opens entirely new possibilities for future relations.

She has highlighted that she looks forward to continuing cooperation and further concretizing the topics discussed.

“I concluded a very successful visit to the United States, on my way back from Dayton, with an extremely important and promising meeting in Washington with the Secretary of Commerce of the President Donald Trump’s administration, Howard Lutnick,” Cvijanović posted on Instagram.
