BIJELJINA, JULY 11 /SRNA/ - Muslim forces from Srebrenica under the command of Naser Orić raided several Serb villages in the municipalities of Srebrenica and Bratunac on Petrovdan /St. Peter's Day/, July 12, 1992, and killed 69 residents.
Twenty-two Serbs were taken prisoner, ten of whom have never been found and are believed to have disappeared in the camp set up in the former Srebrenica police station.
Continuing the ethnic cleansing of Serbs that had begun in April 1992, members of Muslim forces loyal to the government in Sarajevo attacked the villages of Zalazje, Sase and Kunjerac and devastated them.
The attack began in the early morning hours while residents were celebrating their patron saint's day, Petrovdan /St. Peter's Day/.
Nurse Radivojka Rada Milanović was executed in Zalazje. She had remained in Srebrenica from the beginning of the war to help her patients.
During the attack on Zalazje, judge Slobodan Ilić was captured, tortured and then brutally killed.
According to testimony given by Muslim witnesses, he was personally killed by Naser Orić.
