BOSNIAKS HAVE BEEN SPEAKING FOR THEMSELVES FOR YEARS; WHAT MATTERS IS THAT REPUBLIKA SRPSKA INSTITUTIONS REMAIN VIGILANT

TESLIĆ, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ - Commenting on the address by BiH Ambassador to the UN Zlatko Lagumdžija in New York and statements by Bosniak member of the Presidency Denis Bećirović, Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said that they have for years been speaking in their own names while improperly seeking to portray their positions as those of BiH as a whole.

Cvijanović said she did not expect anything in particular, but stressed that it was important for Republika Srpska, that is, its institutions, to always remain vigilant.

“That is what we do: prevent any harm from being inflicted on Republika Srpska. Of course, we do this through our institutional and political work. Therefore, what is said there, without having been agreed with us in Republika Srpska, is not binding in any way and does not represent the position of BiH as a whole,” Cvijanović concluded.
