AMIDŽIĆ: FINANCING PROVIDED FOR ORGANIZED RETURN OF BiH CITIZENS FROM MIDDLE EAST

SARAJEVO, MARCH 5 /SRNA/ - This morning, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers issued a positive opinion and secured funds for organizing the return of our citizens from endangered areas of the Middle East, Minister Srđan Amidžić has stated.

"I expect a decision by the Council of Ministers as early as today so that the safe return of citizens can be enabled as soon as possible. If necessary, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers will also secure additional funds," Amidžić wrote on the social network X.

The Government of Republika Srpska yesterday held a telephone session at which it requested that the Council of Ministers engage all necessary resources to ensure the safe return of citizens currently in the territories of states affected by armed conflicts in the Middle East.

The Government accepted the information on the need to evacuate citizens from the territories of states affected by armed conflicts in the Middle East and requested feedback on the actions of the Council of Ministers regarding the undertaken activities.
