KYIV, SEPTEMBER 6 /SRNA-Reuters/ — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that talks between Ukrainian side and US peace envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were "substantive".
Zelensky told reporters that the discussions covered security and economic guarantees for Ukraine, as well as the supply of air defense missiles and a winter support package.
He added he hoped trilateral talks involving Ukraine, Russia and the USA would resume soon.
Witkoff said he had a good feeling about the peace talks in Moscow and Kyiv, adding that America hoped to find a diplomatic solution to the war, which has entered its fifth year.
