ZAKHAROVA URGES CONDEMNATION OF KYIV’S CRIMINAL ACTIONS

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 5 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ - Moscow has called on the International Atomic Energy Agency /IAEA/ to firmly condemn what it described as the criminal actions of Kyiv and its sponsors, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said today.

Zakharova said Western arms supplies to Ukraine were further fuelling new provocations against the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

"We call on the IAEA leadership to firmly condemn the criminal actions of Kyiv and its sponsors," Zakharova said.

Russian authorities said Ukrainian armed forces attacked a laboratory building at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and a radioactive waste treatment facility overnight.
