ZAKHAROVA: ATTACK ON TANKER IS TERRORIST IN NATURE

MOSCOW, JULY 30 /SRNA/ - Kyiv's overnight drone attack on vessels at the marine terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium /CPC/ is terrorist in nature, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"It is highly unlikely that the White House does not see what is happening. We hope that the US authorities, which have influence over Kyiv, will finally provide an appropriate assessment of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's hypocritical policy and rein him in. We expect the same from the UN and other international bodies," Zakharova concluded.

Zakharova reminded that, in public statements and contacts with foreign partners, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov regularly draws attention to the terrorist nature of the Kyiv regime and points to the threat it deliberately poses to international energy infrastructure.

According to her, Zelenskyy has not only lost his legal capacity, but is also demonstrating a complete inability to negotiate, and the economic interests of the US and Kazakhstan, which Kyiv considers its partners, are increasingly being affected by Zelenskyy's brazen policies, RIA Novosti reports.

The CPC earlier said that the tanker "Nissos Sifnos", sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands and loading oil at the VPU-3 terminal, had been the target of a terrorist attack.
