SIMFEROPOL, JUNE 10 /SRNA/ - The panoramic masterpiece by Franz Roubaud "Siege of Sevastopol," located in the museum dedicated to the defense of Sevastopol in 1854–1855, was almost completely destroyed in a Ukrainian drone attack, stated the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev.

Razvozhayev said that the drone deliberately hit the panoramic three-dimensional museum in Sevastopol, assessing that by doing this, Ukrainian forces have once again shown their barbaric face.

"Savages and non-humans deliberately targeted what is dear to us, trying to destroy our very essence. We will not be intimidated! The only thing you have achieved is to once again show the world your true barbaric face," emphasized Razvozhayev.

He stated that 83 members of the Sevastopol rescue services and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are currently at the scene.

"The situation is extremely difficult: it is already clear that the great masterpiece by Franz Roubaud has been practically destroyed," says Razvozhayev.

There were no injuries reported in this attack.

"Siege of Sevastopol" is a painted panorama by the Russian artist Franz Roubaud. It depicts the Allied attack on the Malakhov Battery on June 6, 1855, during the Siege of Sevastopol in the Crimean War, in which 173,000 British and French soldiers were repelled by 75,000 Russian troops.
