WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 16 /SRNA-Reuters/ – US President Donald Trump said today that he was holding talks with Moscow and Beijing aimed at denuclearizing the countries with the largest nuclear arsenals.
"The whole issue is a disgrace, because I would love to see denuclearization, if that is possible. We are talking about it with Russia and China as well," Trump told Newsmax.
Trump said he expected China to catch up with the United States in the number of nuclear warheads within the next five years.
According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Russia has the largest nuclear arsenal, followed by the United States and China.
