TRUMP: I WILL NOT SEEK THIRD TERM

WASHINGTON, NOVEMBER 2 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - US President Donald Trump has vowed he will not seek a third term despite his current popularity among American voters.

"I'll go. I would love to run. They had a poll the other day where I beat everybody by so much. I'd love to run, but it's fine," Trump said in an interview with the New York Post when asked whether he'll leave at the end of his term.

Trump noted that much can be achieved within the remaining two years of his presidency.

The United States will hold midterm elections on November 3 to elect 35 senators and all 435 members of the House of Representatives, alongside legislative and gubernatorial races in many states.

According to analysts, the Republican Party risks losing control of the lower house.
