TRUMP: FRANCE IS BURNING! CLOSE THE BORDERS AND TAKE CONTROL

WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 18 /SRNA/ - US President Donald Trump said today that France was suffering the consequences of immigration and called on French authorities to close the borders and take control of the situation, warning that otherwise it could be too late.

"France is burning! The arrival of people from a completely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has destroyed that once-great country. Close the borders and take control before it is too late!" Trump wrote on the Truth Social platform.

Violence broke out across France yesterday during the latest wave of demonstrations over poor conditions in schools and the high cost of living.

The French government said there had been an "escalation of violence," estimating that around 550,000 people had taken to the streets in cities across the country.

French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said that 1,200 protesters had been arrested and around 150 police officers injured in unrest across France.
