STRONG EARTHQUAKE NEAR ALASKA

ANCHORAGE, SEPTEMBER 3 /SRNA/ - An earthquake of 6.2 magnitude occurred near Alaska, the US Geological Survey said.

It said that the earthquake was registered 105 kilometers south of the Nikolski settlement, with the epicenter at the depth of 78 kilometers.

There is no information about victims or damage.
