SON OF ISRAELI AMBASSADOR TO THE US SERIOUSLY WOUNDED IN WEST BANK

RAMALLAH, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ - Israeli military reservist Neria Leiter, son of Israel’s ambassador to the USA, Yehiel Leiter, was seriously wounded in a car-ramming attack at the Maccabim checkpoint, west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, Israeli media reported.

According to the same source, the attacker was killed at the scene.

Leiter is in critical condition and unconscious in a hospital in Jerusalem.

Ambassador Leiter said that doctors are “fighting for Neria’s life” and that he believes in the power of prayer.

“When the people of Israel unite, miracles happen. Neria needs a miracle,” Leiter wrote on social media.
