PUTIN PLANS TO ATTEND APEC SUMMIT

MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 25 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ - Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that he plans to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation /APEC/ Summit in China, but stressed that this would largely depend on the situation in Russia.

The Russian leader said that Moscow had been ready to resume talks with Kyiv after the elections, but that Ukraine had attempted to launch attacks on Moscow and that polling stations were also among the targets.

“Kyiv must understand that any escalation will not lead to anything good, but will only make the situation worse,” Putin stressed.
