PUTIN: ENEMY TRIED TO DISRUPT ELECTIONS

MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ - Russia's enemies attempted to interfere with and disrupt the elections, but the queues at polling stations show that Russia cannot be intimidated, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"It is well known that attempts were made to interfere with and disrupt the elections, as evidenced by the enemy's repeated attempts to breach the air defenses of Moscow and other regions. But the queues at polling stations show that Russia cannot be intimidated," Putin said during a video conference with members of the Russian Government.

According to him, strengthening the country's defense capabilities is not possible without effective monetary policy.

He reiterated that all the goals set as part of the special military operation will be achieved.
