MOSCOW, JUNE 13 /SRNA/ - Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russian forces are maintaining a strategic advantage during the special military operation, that they are advancing in all directions, and that no strikes by the Ukrainian armed forces against Russia will help the enemy.
"The enemy is unable to contain this pressure and is openly resorting to terrorist methods, attacking civilian facilities, communications infrastructure and passenger transport", the Russian leader said during a video conference on the development of the new Russian regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
He added that Russian troops are advancing confidently and that no shelling or drone attacks will change the situation.
Putin noted that all federal institutions, many state-owned companies and other regions have joined efforts to integrate the annexed Russian regions.
According to him, Donbas and Novorossiya must reach national standards by 2030 in all key indicators, including quality of life.
He added that it is necessary not only to rebuild and repair what was destroyed in Donbas and Novorossiya, but also to lay new foundations for the transformation of the economy and industry and provide a strong impetus for development so that people can see real improvements in their lives.
"This is our key national task, and it must be carried out strictly," Putin added, as quoted by Sputnik.
The Russian president assessed that the development of the new regions is taking place under difficult conditions of drone attacks and shelling, and thanked everyone participating in what he described as a massive undertaking.
"I know that this work is being carried out in a very tense, challenging and sometimes dangerous combat environment along the line of contact, under conditions of drone attacks and shelling", Putin concluded.
