ONE-DOLLAR COINS FEATURING TRUMP’S PORTRAIT TO GO ON SALE SOON

WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – The United States Mint has announced that it will soon begin selling collector sets of a new one-dollar coin featuring a portrait of US President Donald Trump, commemorating the 250th anniversary of US independence.

"This fall, the one-dollar coin featuring Trump’s portrait will be released into circulation and made available for purchase in bags and rolls, exclusively through the US Mint," the statement said.

The obverse of the coin features a portrait of the US leader, along with the inscriptions "Liberty", "In God We Trust" and "1776–2026." The reverse depicts the presidential seal with an eagle bearing a shield on its chest, along with the commemorative mark "250".

A total of 250,000 such coins will be available for order, in sets of 25 coins priced at $61 and sets of 100 coins priced at $154.
