NETANYAHU: TOP PRIORITY IS TO TOPPLE IRANIAN REGIME

TEL AVIV, SEPTEMBER 3 /SRNA/ - Israel’s foreign policy priority is regime change in Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

"I am convinced of our ability to remove this threat once and for all, meaning to topple this regime in Tehran. This remains the central mission before us, but we are getting closer to it. It is not easy, but it is not impossible. It is within reach," he said at a meeting with Defense Minister Israel Katz, Chief of the General Staff Eyal Zamir and senior military officials.

According to the Israeli prime minister, Iran is weaker today than ever before and is fighting for its survival.

"I say to our enemies - do not mess with us. If you have learned anything, do not mess with us. We have the strength, determination and internal unity to overcome you, and that is what I wish for the people of Israel in the coming year and the years ahead,” Netanyahu stressed in connection with the upcoming Rosh Hashanah holiday, the Jewish New Year, which will be observed this year from September 11 to 13.
