NETANYAHU THANKS CVIJANOVIĆ FOR ATTENDING INTERNATIONAL POLICY SUMMIT

JERUSALEM, JUNE 21 /SRNA/ – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the International Policy Summit in Jerusalem today and thanked the Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović, as well as other friends of Israel, for their attendance.

In his opening remarks, Netanyahu highlighted Israel’s successes in confronting the Iranian regime and the organisations it sponsors, as well as the country's greatest achievement that the Jewish people in Israel no longer live in fear.

He stated that Israel had successfully “decapitated” the terrorist regime and eliminated the nuclear threat.

“The United States says that /U.S. President/ Donald Trump does everything I tell him to do, while Israel says that I do everything Trump tells me to do. None of that is true. We are leaders of independent and proud states,” Netanyahu said.

He noted that there had been those who opposed his decisions, but that sometimes difficult and unpleasant actions must nevertheless be taken.

“They told me not to confront Hezbollah, not to confront Iran. Yet we succeeded in preventing them from destroying us, from developing nuclear weapons, and from wiping us off the face of the earth,” Netanyahu emphasized.
