NETANYAHU: IRANIAN PEOPLE ARE HOSTAGES OF IDEOLOGICAL THUGS

TEL AVIV, OCTOBER 18 /SRNA/ - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Iranian people were hostages of a group he described as “ideological bullies.”

In an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu said that the goal for the coming period was to completely and fundamentally eliminate the Iranian threat directed against Israel, the United States, and the world as a whole.

He added that the current US administration and Israel were on the right track to achieving this important strategic goal.

Netanyahu stressed that the combined efforts, involving military action on the ground and a strict economic blockade, had proved highly effective in undermining Tehran’s capabilities.

The Israeli prime minister added that eliminating this threat would give the Iranian people a genuine opportunity to take control of their own future, which, in turn, would reshape the entire Middle East and steer it toward greater stability.

Netanyahu stressed that the only effective way to resolve this complex situation was to fundamentally remove the current government in Tehran. He called for a definitive end to its regional policy.
