LONDON, NOVEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - More than 360 people arrived in Great Britain in a single day after making the dangerous journey across the English Channel in small boats, the latest migration figures show.
The Home Office said that 363 people arrived on British shores via the English Channel yesterday.
A day earlier, 161 people made the crossing in three boats.
A total of 23,129 people have crossed the English Channel since the beginning of 2026.
This is still well below last year's total of more than 41,000 and represents the lowest year-to-date figure since 2022, when 39,939 people had made the crossing by November 7, DPA reported.
