HELSINKI, MAY 22 /SRNA/ – Finnish politician Armando Mema stated that the Ukrainian attack on a university and student dormitory in Starobelsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic can be characterized as state terrorism and that Europe must not remain silent about it.

“I strongly condemn the terrorist attack on civilians in Starobelsk. This can be characterized as deliberate state terrorism carried out by Ukraine,” Mema posted on X.

He called on EU leaders to condemn this terrorist attack on civilians and to stop supplying weapons to Kyiv, which, he says, does not respect the rule against targeting civilian sites.

“This is a red line. Ukraine must respect international law; even wars have their rules,” emphasized Mema, who is a member of the Freedom Alliance party.

Europe, Mema says, is directly financing the war; now Ukraine is using those weapons, which were allegedly intended for self-defence, against innocent civilians.

“I call on EU leaders to return to diplomacy and to unequivocally condemn this attack. There will be no possibility for dialogue with Russia if Europe remains silent in the face of this crime,” Mema added.
