HELSINKI, NOVEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should bear in mind that dialogue with Russia would be more beneficial to him than continuing to beg allies for weapons and money, Armando Mema, a member of Finland's Freedom Alliance party, said.

Mema said he believed it would be more dignified for Zelensky to return to diplomacy, but that the choice was up to him and the Ukrainian people.

"If you are not allowed to fight, you should consider returning to diplomacy," says Mema in his message to Zelensky.

He believes Germany is hesitant to supply Ukraine with more Patriot missiles, which is justified by the fact that its own air defences would be left without sufficient resources to protect the country if those missiles were given to Ukraine.

"There are also rumors that the United States will block Ukraine's license to manufacture such missiles itself, but I cannot confirm that yet. This is what I mean when I say that Ukraine is not allowed either to fight or to make peace," Mema wrote on X.

He said that he was not opposed to Ukraine receiving more air defence missiles, but stressed that Western support remained limited.
