MELANIA TRUMP BROKERS RUSSIA-UKRAINE CEASEFIRE IN OLESHKY

WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 23 /SRNA-Reuters/ - US First Lady Melania Trump has brokered a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the city of Oleshky, which will take effect on October 29, the White House said.

"Russia and Ukraine have agreed to temporarily suspend all military activities in the city of Oleshky to allow humanitarian aid to enter and to prepare for the evacuation of civilians through an established safe corridor," the statement said.

An impartial American media organization will monitor and document the activities of Russian and Ukrainian teams throughout the process.

The statement added that Melania Trump and her representative had worked directly with the Russian and Ukrainian leaderships to secure the localized ceasefire.
