DUBLIN, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin will establish a new body to examine issues around reunification with Northern Ireland that constitutes a part of the United Kingdom, The Irish Times reported on Friday.

Citing Martin, the report says that the new body in Ireland will assess options and challenges for "constitutional futures" of the island, including the reunification of Ireland comprised of 32 counties.

Martin told the newspaper that the process of establishment of the body will begin until the end of 2026.

The Irish Times reports that the body will focus on three possible scenarios including creation of united Ireland, preserving Northern Ireland as a part of the UK and establishing an autonomous entity of Northern Ireland within the united state with its own parliament, government, state agencies and police.
