LARGE-SCALE RAIDS TARGETING MONEY-LAUNDERING NETWORK

BERLIN, SEPTEMBER 30 /SRNA/ - More than 1,000 police officers are taking part in large-scale raids across Germany and in several other European countries targeting an international money-laundering network and members of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang, German news agency DPA reported.

According to information obtained by DPA, around 140 locations are being searched.

Police said searches were being carried out in several German states as well as in other European countries.

The operation is being led by prosecutors in Duisburg.
