MINIĆ TO TASS: MILITARIZATION CANNOT BE ANSWER FOR EUROPE, IT MUST USE DIALOGUE TO AVOID CONFLICT

MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 30 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said Europe must do everything in its power to prevent an armed conflict, stressing that militarization cannot be the answer.

"Let us talk, since we already have diplomatic relations. If we have channels of communication, let us use them. I believe it is in everyone's interest to do everything in our power to prevent an armed conflict", Minić told TASS.

Minić said he "knows very well what war is" because he took part in the Defensive-Patriotic War, and therefore considered it unacceptable to present militarization as a solution.

Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić and President Milorad Dodik will hold a press conference today at Banja Luka Airport following their visit to the Russian Federation.
