JOURNALISTS TO COVER DEVELOPMENTS DURING OLESHKY CEASEFIRE

WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 23 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ – Employees of a US media organization will travel to Oleshky in the Kherson region to document events during a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, US First Lady Melania Trump said.

The first lady did not specify which media organization would be involved.

The White House earlier announced that Melania Trump had secured a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the city of Oleshky, which is due to take effect on October 29.

"I have also secured the participation of an impartial American media organization to visit the area and film Russian and Ukrainian teams on the ground. This will play a significant role in ensuring that the wishes of every family are respected," Melania Trump said.

Kremlin official Yuri Ushakov said earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin had asked US representative Steve Witkoff to convey his gratitude to the American first lady for her humanitarian efforts.
