FOOTAGE OF ATTACK ON STAROBELSK UNIVERSITY SUBMITTED TO THE UN

MOSCOW, JUNE 6 /SRNA–RIA Novosti/ – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov has handed over photo and video materials from the site of a Ukrainian attack on a student dormitory of the Pedagogical University in Starobelsk to Vladimir Kuznetsov, director of the UN Information Centre in Moscow.

“During the talks, the Russian side presented photo and video materials from the site of the attack on the university in Starobelsk on May 22, which, according to Russia, confirm the involvement of the Ukrainian armed forces, as well as photographs of the students who were killed,” announced the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry added that Kuznetsov would forward the materials to UN Headquarters in New York, including to the UN Secretary-General, the Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, Vanessa Frazier, and other relevant bodies.

The statement further noted that Moscow expects the information to be used in fact-finding procedures and to contribute to a clear public condemnation of terrorist actions by the Ukrainian armed forces.
