EXPLOSIVE DEVICE FOUND ON RAILWAY LINE

BERLIN, AUGUST 13 /SRNA-REUTERS/ – German police said they were evacuating buildings near a potentially explosive device found on a railway track in the Bavarian town of Treuchtlingen.

Bavarian police said on X that some buildings in the immediate vicinity were being evacuated as a precaution, while a spokesperson added that the evacuation was necessary to allow the device to be safely removed from the railway track.

Police said an investigation would determine what kind of device it was and who was responsible for placing it.
