CREDIBLE THREAT AGAINST PRIME MINISTER AND DEFENCE MINISTER

WARSAW, OCTOBER 11 /SRNA/ – Polish intelligence agencies are taking assassination threat against Prime Minister Donald Tusk extremely seriously, as the threat appears to be highly credible, spokesperson Jacek Dobrzyński warned.

"We are taking this matter very seriously," he said at a briefing following an emergency meeting of the intelligence services.

He added that there was a high likelihood that the threats would be carried out. According to him, Tusk and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz received the threats today at around 5:00 a.m. local time, TASS reported.

According to the newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza, the threats were received through electronic channels and contained information about the politicians’ residences and their plans for the near future.
