BELGRADE, OCTOBER 11 /SRNA/ – SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik said that, during his time in power, the essence of Republika Srpska, its strength and its institutions had been preserved, adding that he was fully convinced that BiH could survive only if the original Dayton Peace Agreement was upheld.
"What they have stolen, seized and imposed, and now claim that ‘it is settled’ - none of it is settled. Absolutely none of it. The only thing that is settled for us is the provisions of the Constitution," Dodik said.
He pointed out there is no Court of BiH, Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, BiH Army, indirect taxation or intelligence services within the constitutional framework of BiH.
"There are many other things they have taken away from us under the banner of ‘European integration’. The argument was: ‘You have to move towards Europe; otherwise, you will be isolated and sanctioned.’ This has affected not only my generation but others as well. We have always tried, and even when we had to swallow something, it had to be the absolute minimum we could tolerate," Dodik told RTS.
He stressed that the essence of Republika Srpska, its strength and its institutions had been preserved.
"We have safeguarded its rights, which are predominant and which also make decisions at the level of BiH. All that is needed is a united political leadership for Republika Srpska to experience an even greater resurgence and become stronger," Dodik said.
Dodik said that Republika Srpska’s survival throughout this entire period represented a masterful and monumental achievement.
