MOSCOW, OCTOBER 27 /SRNA/ - Russian and Ukrainian forces have halted fire around the town of Oleshky in the Kherson region to prepare for a humanitarian operation, the Russian Defense Ministry said this morning.

"As part of preparations for a humanitarian operation near the town of Oleshky in the Kherson region, the Russian armed forces ceased fire as of 4 a.m.," the ministry said in a statement.
