STOCKHOLM, NOVEMBER 5 /SRNA-Reuters/ - Sweden will introduce border controls at its internal borders for the next six months, citing an assessment that there is a serious threat to public peace and order and internal security, the Swedish Government said.
"The assessment is primarily based on the seriousness of the security situation," the statement said.
The border controls will remain in place for six months, from November 12 this year until May 11, 2027.
