BERLIN JUSTIFIES MILITARIZATION EXPENDITURE BY PORTRAYING MOSCOW AS ENEMY

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA/ - The German leadership is artificially portraying Russia as an enemy in order to justify the costs of militarization, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"It is an information technique, the artificial creation of an imaginary enemy in order to justify the costs of militarization. That is what Berlin is doing," Peskov told reporters.

Commenting on Lithuania's plans to lift its ban on the deployment of nuclear weapons, he stressed that Russia would be forced to take all necessary measures to ensure its security.
