BEIJING DENIES PROVIDING ARMS TO ANY SIDE IN UKRAINE CONFLICT

BEIJING, JUNE 18 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – China has never supplied lethal weapons to any side in the Ukraine conflict, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said.

Lin stressed that China has consistently maintained an objective and impartial stance on the Ukraine crisis.

According to him, Beijing has continuously encouraged peace talks and called for a ceasefire.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said earlier that China is helping Russia bypass sanctions and is supplying goods with both civilian and military applications.
