MOSCOW, JUNE 4 /SRNA/ - The terrorist attack by Ukrainian drones on St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region could lead to a direct military conflict between Russia and NATO, assessed the Permanent Representative of Russia to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe /OSCE/ Dmitry Polyansky.
"Despite our warnings about the inevitability of a harsh response, a new incident occurred yesterday that risks leading to a direct military conflict between Russia and NATO," Polyansky said at the OSCE Permanent Council, commenting on Ukraine's recent attack on targets in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
He warned that the possibility of the Ukrainian conflict spreading to sponsors of the Kiev regime could cool heated heads in the Alliance.
